Ok, so on the uscis website, it says that they mailed out our approval on july 10. So far, we haven't received anything in the mail. We filed at Vermont and my fiance lives in TX. How long can it possibly take? Is that normal? Do you guys think we should call them and have it resend?

that's about 3 day in mail, give them 10 becasue they dont actually mail it when it's dated... but you're just now following up 4 months later?

were you APPROVED or was that the RECEIPT date when they rec'd your petition?

edit:

ok looking at your timeline you got your NOA1 july 12th, and NOA2 nov 10th...

if you did not receive the NOA2 in a few days call them to send another because it is quite expensive to replace if you dont have it later.

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

That's wonderful! make a copy of it (the NOA2) and keep original safe with your important docs... to replace that later if you would have to is more than $300!!
