Hi, I've been reading through the threads about the i-693 for AOS and it seems like no matter what you send in it really just depends on 'luck.' My husband is adjusting his status from a K1 visa. He had his medical interview in Istanbul only 2 months ago. They would not give him a copy of the DS-3025 but he does have two vaccination cards- one in Turkish and one with 2 vaccinations listed on it from the Istanbul medical interview.

My question is to those that have adjusted their status in the past year, what medical papers did you send in with your AOS application? I'm interested to hear what other people from Turkey have done.

Thank you!

11/29/2010 Sent AOS package
12/10/2010 NOA1
01/07/2011 AOS transfer to CSC
01/11/2011 Biometrics
2/08/2011 AOS approved
2/22/2011 Green card in hand!

Hey I havent been on K-1 process, but we did Aos..We got an appointment from a civil surgeon and he did all the examinations, vaccinations required on I-693 for us..They put everything in a sealed envelope,we directly sent it to the immigration office..The vaccinations he got in Turkey will show up in his bloodtest,he wont need to get them again..Good Luck!!

Hi,

My vaccination card was also in Turkish, but i did not get it translated. I just went to a civil surgeon for i-693, but not for a whole medical exam just to have them fill out the vaccination part. (just part 1 (you will fill out the part one), part 2 and part 5 (civil surgeon). You can find a civil surgeon near where you live through the below website.

https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=CIV

But be careful, most civil surgeons will want you to have a full medical exam, just don't listen to them they just want to make more money. Tell them that you already had a medical exam in Turkey, so you do not have to need one again, tell that you need them fill out the vaccination part, that's it ( this costs 25-75$, depends on where you live, you can also check the below link)

Actually you do not have to send i-693, if your vaccinations are complete. If the hospital in Turkey gave you a paper saying that your vaccinations are complete, then you might not need to send the form. My vaccinations were also complete, but i just did not want to take risk so i went to civil surgeon for i-693. ( and when i went to civil surgeon, we found out that my vaccinations were not complete :S so CS made me have one more shot..)

Good luck on your journey..
