there are not any relationship between ROC and a JOB. for example a couple can decide that only one of them will support the house. So this is not an issue if you are working or not. the really importan think is if you are a real couple.

There isn't even a place for job or job status on the form...It's about marriage, marriage, and some more marriage.

All that matters is that you two file taxes jointly as a married couple, even if only one of you is working, whether by choice, or because of the bad economy.
