if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.

Help me out, then. Quakers are Christians. Are you saying that Christianity is a peaceful religion?

Quakers serve as conscientious objectors in the military. Take that as an answer, or leave it. Your choice. Truth is how you perceive it to be. Nothing more, nothing less.

Truth is, Quakers are a single denomination of a major religion with many denominations. I guess you can't vouch for Christianity being peaceful, even though some Christians are. Thanks.

I can't even vouch for all Quakers. I believe Nixon was one, and he bombed the hell out of Hanoi.

As a consequence of the Fall, all humans are broken and twisted shadows of what we are meant to be. Even the best of us. Even if we all knew the Truth, it wouldn't change anything. The best we can hope for is to be forgiven. Our salvation has been bought and paid for, in blood. It's an inheritance we just have to claim, but many of us are too damaged to even do that. It should come as no surprise that some people's damage manifests as turning our forgiveness and inheritance into a weapon to cause pain and death to others.
