How do you figure?

Nobody has ever been stopped by these machines. The only method that has proven effective in stopping terrorists is intelligence. The money spent on these machines and the flunkies who attempt to operate them would be better spent on increasing the scope of our intelligence community.

There will never be a testicle bomber.

It's the guy with a baloon full of explosives in his #### that we all need to fear....

What about a eunuch with exploding testicle implants?

I wonder if bomb sniffing dogs could detect that. Since we're letting them fondle our testicles already, we might as well let their canines sniff them too. I hope they don't bite though.

I flew home from a business trip a few weeks ago, only to discover that I'd had a cigarette lighter and several books of matches in my carry-on. I don't smoke, but had purchased the lighter at a convenience store to open bottles of beer (they didn't have any bottle openers), and the matchbooks were from a few restaurants we visted on the trip. Not being used to carrying a lighter, it didn't even cross my mind that I might have it with me...

If I can do that ACCIDENTALLY without it being picked up on an x-ray or anything, imagine how successful you could be if you were trying to hide something!

You had nothing in your carry-on that isn't allowed. What were they supposed to detect and pick-up? The lighter? That ban was lifted over three years ago.

In an effort to concentrate resources on detecting explosive threats, TSA will no longer ban common lighters in carry-on luggage as of August 4, 2007.

There's a small regional airport where I live. They only have security open per flight and then close again until the next one. They turn off and unplug all the equipment in between. I was the first one through the metal detector when they opened up for my flight and after walking through and starting to put my shoes back on the guy said "oops. You will have to walk through again because it's not plugged in" I was like seriously  they need to worry about people getting through security at smaller airports and going to bigger cities from there.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Well I don't consider myself an elitist. I'm not a rich woman. I'm a common person, working class. I've been fortunate to have some people in my life with some money but not a lot to be considered independently wealthy. We all still have to work. So I'm not sure how I fit into those percentages. But this is crossing the line for me and putting me in a real difficult spot being in an international marriage. I don't want the government seeing my private parts nor touching my private parts because "I opt out". In the future if I have children I can't stand by and allow someone to see or touch my children's privates. What am I supposed to tell them? It's ok if the government does it but don't let strangers? I have a hard enough time going to the doctor for my annual visit.

That leaves me with either driving, taking a bus, learning to fly or sail/drive a boat. I could take a cruise ship to Egypt I guess if I could get an inexpensive deal where I get off the ship at a port and don't get back on. I could take flying lessons and go in on an airplane with a group of people like my brother did for recreation. Flying lessons are expensive but if it means not having to subject myself or the ones I love to the scanners then so be it. My brother also jointly owns a yatch with some people. Well he inherited a 1/3 of it from his first marriage. It's expensive to store at the marina and the gas for it is really expensive to power. It takes a crew of at least 3 people to man it at minimum and we've only taken it to the San Juan Islands and up and down the coast line with friends and family. We've never crossed an ocean in it. They get some money back for renting it out to corporations for parties like Coors Light in Seattle. It seems owning a bigger boat is more expensive then owning a Cessna.

This third option is to join the boycotts. Our rights only come alive when citizen organize, protest, demonstrate, strike, boycott, rebel & violate the law in order to uphold justice. Other countries are already protesting these machines. The objective is about standing up for what's right. I'm sorry but these new TSA policy's aren't right.

From the TSA link:

Q. Why is breast milk not a threat?

Gee, you really have to ask?

You know the annual female exam. Where we have to take our clothes off to put on a paper exam robe with strings in the back. Lay down on a table under glaring lights and spread your legs in the stir-ups & then have our female health examined by a medical practitioner, who depending on where one goes can often be a stranger from year to year.

It would be equivalent to when the doctor tells you to look away and cough AJ...
