Well, I could indeed. I could also come into this thread to point out that the pot is trying to call the kettle black. As I said, civilized societies have abandoned the death penalty long ago. Those nations are in a spot to criticize the barbarian punishment which doesn't belong into the 21st century. But you'd rather sit in that cave and point fingers at the other cavemen. That's ridiculous.

Does anyone else find this sick and utterly barbaric ...or is it just me ? How twisted the minds of those people must be to kill people for bad mouthing their religion. It makes one want to see such people carpet bombed back into the Stone Age...which is irony seeing how they are just a few steps away from living in the Stone Age.

I am not pro-death penalty. I see Big Dog has joined the fray with Sofyaa and completely obliterated the subject of the OP. To the extent some crimes, such as kidnapping, raping and torturing, then dismembering a child might logically justify in some sense the death penalty which is why more than a few countries and better than half the US States still have it. But that is merely a side show and tactical diversion from the OP. The death penalty is not the issue, beyond the fact it is to be imposed for blaspheming Islam, which is the subject of this thread.

Nice try but got to give Sof and BD a massive fail here.
