I am about to file the initial paperwork but I am really worried about my credit. I don't owe too much on the credit cards (under 3k) but my credit isn't that good right now. I am fixing it but its going to take some time. Do you think it may be a problem in regards to the K1 approval ??? I am really really worried about it and I am curious if they check my credit history or any other source. I have a job that pays decent and probably will have a better job by the time she has to go to her interview. PLEASE HELP... THANKS

They won't be looking at your credit, only your relationship. Later in the process you will have to prove your income. They will not consider your credit.

Credit, or lack thereof, is not a consideration at all.

Unless there's a tax lien, that is correct.
