also i am just including one statement per quarter since the aos period and only the front page which shows the names/address and traffic, e.g. how many deposits, withdrawals, checks written...would that be alright since i'm not comfortable giving our whole statment, it is the same account we had at the time of aos no changes.

One statement per quarter is good enough.

No Passport photocopies needed.

Do you have any other utility bills? Cellphone probably showing family plan?

Do you have rent leases or mortgages?

Car insurance? Life Insurance?

401k plans showing the spouse as a beneficiary?

you can also include DL, or State IDs

no other utilities...comcast is phone, internet and cable. pg&e covers electricity/gas. we don't pay water. i don't know of any other utilities. cell phone bill will not be used unfortunately we do not agree about it so we now have separate accounts so we can keep the peace.

green card of course necessary and passport because it shows secondary evidence of visa for china issued to both of us, as we took a vacation last summer.

nope nothing else available. looks like we'll have to risk it. thanks for the advice.

thanks inky...i do have a few wedding invitations and what not over the years that have been sent. might look into imposing on friends and colleagues to write affadavits.

i will say the evidence we DO have is solid as it ALL dates back to 2007 when we were married and for good measure i will include it so at least none of our joint stuff is "new"

wish me luck!

Well, the io for my friends citizenship interview (based on 3 yr marriage to USC) wanted to see the bank statements with all the transactions. The io refused the first page and stated that was not enough evidence, so in my opinion just send the whole statement, you have nothing to lose if you do but everything to gain...

Looks good to me exactly the way it is. If I look though your paperwork, I believe that you are a married couple, living together, and that's what it's all about.

If you have, add 3 to 6 photos showing you two at the holidays, a birthday party, with family, or on vacation. I personally glued three 4 x 6 photos on a regular page and submitted 3 pages for a total of 9 photos.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.
