My now wife needs to file her adjustment of status and I have a question for the i-864. I had a joint sponsor when filing the affidavit of support i-134 during the k-1 visa process. This year I have already made more than enough myself to support my spouse. Is there any way that my CO-Sponsor for the original affidavit not have to file the new i-864? I obviously do not have my tax returns for this year yet.

They are two completely different things. Your "current" joint sponsor has no obligation to be a part of the Adjustment of Status.

You're good to go! I needed a co-sponsor for K-1, but was able to sponsor my husband without one for AOS.

The demonstrate current and continuing income submit an employment verification letter (the employer letter that you see mentioned here on VJ) along with your most recent paystubs. You don't have to wait for your 2010 tax treturn to be filed.

Some paystubs even have a Year to Date earnings line, which you could point out with a highlighter or circle with a red pen.
