Dear VJ'S,

I am a little freaked out at this time. I am about to send in my AOS package by this friday and all the necessary paperwork is in order except for one...my accountant just informed me that he never mailed my 2009 TAX RETURNS :( :( I called the IRS to confirm and to get my 2008 and 2007 transcripts and I was told the same thing. I worked part time last year and I wasn't going to get a huge tax return and thats why I never bothered(I know, very careless of me)

People, what now?? I have 2 co sponsors(THANK GOD) and their income is more than enough.

I do have my pay stubs for this year, my income along with my co sponsors we meet the poverty guideline.

Please someone guide me. I am totally LOST :crying:

Thanks!

Has your 2009 return been mailed / filed as of today? If not, you may have some trouble with question #25 on your I-864.

Make sure it's in the mail ASAP so you can claim (truthfully) it was filed.

I highly recommend that you file all of your pending years. You can file the electronically. You should not owe anything.
