We have read on Visa Journey that it is possible to expedite delivery of an approved visa from the US Embassy-Manila by submitting a written request at the time of the interview to the Consular Officer. Has anyone done this successfully? The Embassy web site promises delivery via Air21 within 10 business days but I have read that it sometimes can take more time. We may be able to save 50,000 pesos in rent and 4,050 pesos in visa extension fees for my fiancee if we can leave before Nov. 27. Interview is Nov 19. Visa will be delivered to Cagayan De Oro. My fiacee is also concerned about the terror warnings and wants to leave. All of these reasons will be in our letter to the CO. My fiancee is here to accompany me back to his country. Thanks !

have air 21 deliver it to your hotel near the embassy 3 days at the most, we did it,just tell interview officer and air 21 your staying at hotel then off to america!!!!!

We could do that except the only problem is we have to finish moving out of our house in Cagayan De Oro, pay some bills and say goodbye to the family. We had already made arrangements to go back to CDO the day after the interview so we have airline reservations for Saturday and, of course, they are non refundable although we can reschedule the trip if we do it 24 hours in advance. My girl wanted to go back to CDO first before going to the US so thats why I arranged it that way. I just wanted the visa delivered quickly to CDO without having to wait up to 10 business days. Thanks to all for your comments !
