USCIS calling me =/

Sooo I was out on a job interview, just walked through the doors and my sister said a lady from immigration just called, asked for me and when i would be back, and said she would call after lunch. My sister said she sounded very forgien. And I'm super nervous now, I didn't know Imm. calls me at home, what one earth could they want, I did get a case update on the website today about it being in RFE response review. Has this happened to anyone before? Any thoughts? Thanks!

2009 Sept 26: We were married in Turlock, California =D

USCIS

2010 Apr 29: Filed I-130

2010 May 12: I-130 recieved

2010 May 13: Check cashed

2010 May 12: NOA1

2010 Jun 8: Touched

2010 Jun 9: Touched ...again???

2010 Oct 26: Touched !! (after calling USCIS, and congressman 3 days earlier)

2010 Nov 1: RFE (G-325A & Photos)

2010 Nov 9: Touched

2010 Nov 10: Touched

2010 Nov 16: Touched

2010 Nov 17: Touched ... again.

2010 NOV 22: NOA2 =)

NVC

11/xx/10: NVC Assigns a Case#

11/30/10: Called NVC provided emails/ got case# & IIN #

11/30/10: hubby emailed DS3032

11/30/10: paid AOS fee

12/01/10: AOS status paid

12/06/10: hubby emailed DS3032 again..got a confirmation same day!

12/06/10: IV bill invoiced

12/07/10: DS-3032 (Choice of agent) accepted

12/10/10: mailed AOS packet!

12/15/10: pay IV bill

01/10/11: hubby mailed IV packet

02/01/11: checklist from NVC hubby has to fill out EP for montreal!

02/06/11: hubby completed and submitted EP application.

03/10/11: SIF/ case complete=)

04/12/11: Medical completed!

04/20/11: Picked up medical...passed =)

05/03/11: Interview Scheduled @ 8AM!!! =)

05/03/11: APPROVED YAY! =)

05/09/11: Visa in hand! =)

07/02/11: POE =)=)

Ummmm it's way past 1pm and no phone call yet...I am starting to believe it was a prank, I called the USCIS and told the worker someone called, and she said it's not normal we call about expidite information other than that no. SOOOO if this is a prank its cruel! :(

Im not sure of your history re your case, but the uscis asked for all contact details when we expedited, and apparently have called in expedited cases.

USCIS California Service Center - Expedited

09-SEP-2010 : Mailed I130 Petition to Chicago Lockbox.

16-SEP-2010 : Received NOA1.

24-SEP-2010 : Expedite: service request

05-OCT-2010 : Supporting documents sent to CSC.

16-OCT-2010 : RFE received.

19-OCT-2010 : RFE response received at CSC.

22-OCT-2010 : I130 Petition APPROVED.

30-OCT-2010 : NOA2 Received in Mail

NVC - Expedited

27-OCT-2010 : Case Number Assigned

02-NOV-2010 : Expedite request emailed to NVC

10-NOV-2010 : Expedite approved - Case forwarded to Consulate

OCT 2012 : Applied for Removal of Conditions

Hmmm we don't have a expedited case, so im confused lol

it might be someone joking with you :D otherwise call USCIS and ask if they need something from you, and they will tell you, we can't help you, you have to wait 180 days before you can do the next inquiry lol

Find a job you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life.
