Why do they store checkpoint body scan images?

They might want to keep them for a short period of time.

Imagine they have a Aircraft situation, I would think they would want to review those scans to determine if something was over looked.

Once a flight has safely landed without incident, I can't see a purpose to keep those images.

I flew the very first day this started and didn't have to go through a scanner or be patted down. A fews days later I flew out of JFK and didn't go through a scanner. On sunday I was scanned and patted down because my bra had underwire in it. It wasn't sexual or like I was getting felt up. I did think the ####### squeezes were a bit odd but the underwire was touching them so I get it. No one shoved their fingers up me or pinched me. Definitely more pressure with their hands than they used to use. My friend decided to go for the pat down and said he thought the guy was trying to shove his balls up his #### lol

The reason you got patted down even after going through the scan seems like it will happen to many many women if it's the norm. Ughh! They might as well warn women to just go get patted down instead of bothering with the scanner if that's really the case. I find that really annoying. (Not because I think anyone is being a pervert.)

Orthodox religious types (except for orthodox Muslims of course, cuz they scary as hell) should start a parallel network of air travel. They should start their own airports and run their own airlines and run their own security (prayer, of course). Then the two systems can compete for passengers. If you're a God hating ** who likes his junk being fondled by a Haitian guy in a TSA uniform, fly through public airports. If you're a God fearing ** looking forward to martyrdom, fly orthodox. In the end, the free market will decide which wins.

I have a friend who was patted down for underwire too. The time I was just scanned I had on a bra without underwire so I'm curious if it will be the norm for underwire.

A peek into the mind of AJ the travel passenger.
