Interesting. What do you do when you go to the doctor? Have you never had any kind of checks in your "sensitive areas"? Of course, a TSA agent isn't quite a doctor, but if the intent is not sexual, then it's not sexual, IMO.

I conclude that If he were to get a massage from a female therapist, I should be "worried", though I wouldn't be. These are people doing their jobs, not acting out scenes from pornos.

Maybe she's working her way through college and is behind on some bills.......................................

I detect a hint of justashooterism.

You can always chose to not go to the a massage therapist. And even if you went, you can tell her the person to not touch parts of your body. With TSA agents, you cannot. If you refuse to let them touch your #######, #######, or #######, you'll be arrested and sued for $10,000.

What if you submit to the full body scan?

Oh, and you can also choose not to fly - there's always a choice.

Many doctors and physicist are saying that the level of radiation used is not healthy. It can cause cancer. Especially for people who fly frequently. So of us have jobs that require us to fly. We'll have to quit our jobs and risk either being sexually assaulted or radiated. This is not a choice. Many of us have family outside the country. I guess now we have to choose between seeing them and being sexually assaulted by federal goons. Also, pictures taken by these scanners are extremely detailed and they are stored with personallyidentifiable information. These pictures are also viewed in a public area which is akin to handing out your naked picture to everyone in the vicinity. Perhaps you're okay with it. Most sensible people are not.

Not being able to fly because you're given a choice between a rock and a har place is akin to restriction on freedom of movement. This is utterly contradictory to Article XIII of Human Rights Charter, which says citizens have the freedom to move within the border and outside of it, freely.

I've seen examples of the scans and I think you're being a bit dramatic in saying that the whole experience is like someone handing out your naked picture to everyone around. I understand that people have different levels of comfort with these sorts of things. I would hope that you would understand that as well and that people who don't really have a problem with aren't lacking sense, maybe just have a different concept of modesty.
