So tomorrow AM My father is taking me across the boarder via Niagara Falls to catch a flight to visit my husband for 2 weeks. Im really nervous. Ive visited before while we were dating and engaged, but this will be my first go as his wife. I have a return ticket, a letter from my employer stating I was granted 2 weeks vacation and am returning to work December 1, travel insurance for 2 weeks, and our paperwork so far (which sadly is only the NOA-1). Im living with my folks so I have no lease/mortgage, but I do (not that it will mean much) have a cell phone contract I just renewed in July.. Ive tried to pack as light as I can. I do have a few gifts.. my husband likes to bake so there is a stone cookie sheet and spatula. Im a little worried about that as it is a household item.. but hopefully they can accept it is a gift for his birthday. Anyway.. I guess Im just really nervous because 4 years ago I was denied entry and finger printed etc.. Ive been back and forth several times since then with no issues, but I worry. Especially when "wife of US citizen" is my title now. So.. wish me luck. I've never been more petrified in my life which also worries me since I know if I look nervous they are more prone to be suspicious :/

I can totally understand your feeling, I've in this dilemma before, so I still didn't try to visit my hubby till now. But a lot VJs had no problem to visit their lovers, so you will be fine, I'll cross my fingers for you :)

I've also been through the wringer at the border (fingerprints, interrogation, etc) and it's not fun. But I was uninformed at the time and not prepared...no job...no return flight ticket because I was getting a ride home...also living at my mom's...no strong ties. But things turned around for my next visit when I was prepared ahead of time.

I don't think you've got anything to worry about. You've got lots of proof of ties. Just relax and tell yourself you're prepared!

Good luck!!!!!! and don't be nervous, just be honest and everything will be fine. I've visted my hubby in Canada 3/4 times now. And at 3months at a time, 1 and a half month, and 5months. The border has been smooth for me so far. ( Thank God)

And you have good ties. They just asked me where are you staying, who are you visiting, and have a good trip.

I think you are well covered. I use to make my Mom drive me across the border so that she could be a witness to my truth so to speak. I remember being nervous every time!! and yet I never had any trouble lol You have all the required info. What I used to do is have my flight info in my passport when I handed it to them (both there and back) and without fail they would always look at it and I was good to go! The household items...stick a bow on it :) and just be honest that it is a gift. You will be fine, I'll tell you not to worry and know that you will be lol and enjoy the sigh of relief when he/she says have a safe trip :)
