The Embassy should have their new call center contractor in place and ready to go by the time you receive your NOA2.

I wonder which company received the contract. I hope they hire some Pinoys from VJ to work there! :D

tahoma.... thanks for staying with us here...... it really means a lot to know that tho you are way ahead of us, you still take time to share ......

oh yeah...... vj members to work there might ease the flow considering the unselfish knowledge everybody share here !!!! hahaha !!!!

although we got touched nov 17, my fiancee is temporarily in the residence of his daughter who is not, healthwise, in a very good shape...... would appreciate prayers for her and family.....

our original plan was just for him to wait for the NOA2 in the mail then he can book his flight to spend christmas with me and stay til i get my visa...... but due to the recent circumstances, this may change.... on top of that, my fiancee and i have a volunteer work here in the philippines that we have to do before the year ends .......

ahhhh.... life sometimes can be complex.....

we just have to take one day at a time.....

my apologies for posting this.....

maybe just needed a good outlet.....

and confident that vj members are good listeners and a mere pat on the shoulder would suffice.....

again, to all......

thanks for being around for everybody.......

AOS journey

31 March 2011 - Mailed thru USPS (AOS/EAD/AP)

03 April 2011 - NOA (AOS/EAD/AP)

21 April 2011 - NOA (AOS transfer to CSC)

25 May 2011 - EAD/AP approved

04 June 2011 - EAD/AP combo card received

I'm sorry to hear of your fiancé's troubles, and I wish the best for his daughter. (F) I hope your plans come through for you. And I hope you keep your spirit up because, when your visa journey finally ends, your memories of the heartache and frustration of the visa process will quickly fade into the joy of togetherness with your loved one. Until then, like you say, just take it one day at a time. If your plans change, they change. You just roll with the punches because there is nothing else you can do except keep in mind that every day that passes, you are one day closer to being together again.

That's the way it was with Chinook and I. Now that Chinook and I are happily married, we realize more and more each day that the pain our own visa journey was nothing compared to the love that we will share for the rest of our lives. :luv:

Hang in there...trust me...it only gets better. :star:

just concern about my fiancee's daughter......

and yes, i totally agree......

that the joy of togetherness would bury all the "complexity" of the visa journey.....

"it only gets better" - so very true !!!!

Let's just hope they won't mess up the scheduling for December. I really don't understand why they decided to change the system at the end of the year since usually it should be done at the beginning. God is great, I know He has greater plans why this is happening.

I wondered the same thing. Just plain weird. Alot of middle of the year petitioners who tried to "time" the approval/interview for December are having bad luck. I'm praying that we ALL will be scheduled soon. That will be the best gift this Holiday season. God luck and god bless all. Tomorrow again.....

Surprise surprise...I haven't heard anything back from the Embassy.

Tick tock tick tock......

Thanks for the heads up. After spending more than 15 minutes just to verify my identity and my fiancee's (seriously it was such a hassle and I was almost denied my request after I had told her that I did receive approval to schedule; she basically gave me a hard time about it) I was able to schedule my fiancee's interview for Friday Dec. 10th at 7:00AM. Here's my dilemma though, I won't arrive theere (Philippines until Sunday Dec. 12th) and I really want to accompany her. The operator said that I can call on or before Dec. 8th to reschedule and hopefully they will have slots available. For those who have been through this, have any of you had to reschedule. I WILL reschedule because this is NOT the date I want. Can't wait to hear your stories. I will be trying again next week and hopefully the 3rd week slots will be available...Good luck everyone!!

Good luck, I dont think it will be a big deal to re-schedule, as long as slots are available. Yeah it was a head ache for me too. However, my operator was pretty good about it, checked against case number and my fiancées name. I do believe her that its not in the system. It just left NVC last Thurs. Was a long shot, did you try to explain your situation and get a later appointment??? I am hoping for anything after the 15th myself.
