Question - Why does a retrogression goes backwards through years..:crying:

It is presumed all the processing is completed for the previous years and then a current date is projected in the visa bulletin.:innocent:

So, retrogression should actually mean to stop/freeze at the year of processing in visa bulletin.

Any thoughts on my assumptions?:bonk:

It happened to me back in 2000. I cleared my I-140 (employment based) and about to enter I-485 AOS. But the cut-off date retrogressed almost 2 years back. Waited around a year to come back to my priority date and then entered into AOS. But AOS was done in 8.5 months time. An old story :star:

Based on this and your present walk through NVC, you should definitely think of working for NVC..:yes:

Maybe in future we get a chance to email Attn: Super Supervisor Lotto..:D
