Called up NVC re: Interview

I'd like to believe we will have an interview soon coz I called up NVC today and I asked the lady when can we have an interview, she put me on hold and when she got back she told me, they are scheduling me for next month and I will call back on Friday to check on it. Is this real? I hope they are not giving me false hopes... Anyone who experienced a reply from NVC but didn't push through? Your replies will be highly appreciated.

I'm a little confused here. I didnt think NVC did interviews. I thought they just processed approved petitions and forwarded to the Consulates.

as per our visa category, nvc will be the one who will schedule us for interview they will forward it to u.s. embassy here in our country...

I too called NVC kast month to know when we're getting our interview (F3) since our case was completed already on Oct. 15,2010. The lady operator told me to call back again on Nov.15,2010 to get our schedule of interview in December. I called on the 15th of Nov,excited to hear from the operator the date, but I was really very,very disappointed and frustated by what the operator told me. They haven't scheduled an interview for us in December and they cannot assure of an exact date to have it. It could be January next year or February, or any other month.Just plain "uncertainty". I've stopped anticipating for that INTERVIEW for the time being. But still hoping to get it soon.

I hope you won't be in the same situation as mine when your time comes. I know how frustrating it may be .God bless you
