Well, Well, Well, We have finally crossed the line and got the VISA. I wanna thank all the VJer's for supporting me and showing me the right way... I remember when i first joined VJ, i was like, What the hell am i doing on this site.... its good for nothing. anyways, the interview overall went very smooth... It took total of 3 hours. not bad at all.

The Officer asked for these questions:

When did we meet?

How did we meet?

who are all in my family?

why did we wait for 2 years?

why did we not get married in those 2 years?

Where does She (I) work?

and then asked for some evidences.. so he showed them our pictures. Thats it for now folks... since i didn't get to talk to him for long as he was on his way to reach home... will call him back in an about 2 hours or so to find out more........ Wish you luck on your journey !!!!!!! Let me do the Happy Dance.... :dance::P

Did your fiance get the stamp and the passport back, or will VFS courier it to him? Or can he pick up his passport?

KP --- well, the officer said that they don't do the stamp there any longer... so he has decided to pick it up himself... instead of waiting for them to courier it to him... he had contacted the VFS office in Delhi, they said he can either pick it up tomorrow or a day after.. which is not bad at all.

Shalz, that is awesome that he can pick it up from the VFS office. I was reading recently on one of the threads that somone had waited for over a week to get the passport (hope they finally got it) -- someone from UK.

I think I will NOT sleep the day of my wife's interview :-)
