It's orientation day.

There are over 100 new freshman House and Senate members and 1/3 of them have never held elected office before.

The old Congress begins its last session while the new class is learning about ethics, security, how to cast a vote and getting familiar with office equipment.

I hadn't heard that. We're reporting what the national networks are reporting. That it's the last session (lame ducks) and the next starts in January when the new class takes over responsibility. Yesterday I edited the raw video for the new members being sworn in and learned there were 85 new Republicans and a handful of Democrats.
