OK, question 8 says:

I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above.

so i check that because i'm sponsoring my wife listed in part 2.

10. Enter the total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this form from Part 3, Items 8 and 9.

Answer: 01

21. Your Household Size - DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit:

a. Enter the number you entered on line 10.

Answer: 01

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

b. Yourself.

Automatically 1

c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse.

Answer: 1

h. Add together lines and enter the number here. Household Size:

So if I add these up, it comes up to 3, not 2 - so how do I answer this question I don't want to put 3 but 1 + 1 + 1 does not equal 2 - that's some government mathfor you :)

the answer for c. is 0, not 1 ; you counted your wife already in "persons sponsored". Do not count her twice ;) . paragraph C is for sponsors who are not married to the sponsored immigrant; for example in-laws that sponsor their son's/daughter's wife/husband . Good luck!

One more question:

#23 Current annual income - should it be what it is for the current year or should it be what is shown on last year's taxes? if last year's than gross or adjusted?

Also am i reading it right that the only supporting evidence i need to send in are taxes/w-2 copies?

I think you should use your current, not last year's income. what if you had a raise since last year?. You can back that up with a letter from your HR and pay stubs. You still need last year's tax return though...
