03/30/2010 - Interview @ MTL APPROVED!

04/13/2010 - POE @ Pearson International

05/23/2010 - WEDDING

AOS Journey

07/20/2010 - AOS/AP/EAD Sent

07/21/2010 - package received at Chicago

07/28/2010 - check cashed

07/30/2010 - received NOA1 in mail

08/01/2010 - received biometrics letter

08/20/2010 - walk in biometrics completed

08/23/2010 - finally entered into USCIS online -AP's touched on Aug11 and EAD and AOS touched on Aug20 08/30/2010 - AOS/EAD touched

09/09/2010 - AP approved (email notice)

09/13/2010 - Received email that EAD was approved on Sept 10

10/04/2010 - Received interview letter in Mail

What do i need to bring with me for my Biometric appt ??

Do i need a state ID ? (i dont have my driver permit yet) … WIll my Visa be ok as a form or ID ? or should i go and get a state ID done to be sure ?

Just take your Biometrics letter and passport. Now if your name on your Biometrics letter is different than the one you have on your passport because you changed it, then I recommend you to take your certificate marriage just in case they ask for. I was asked for it since I got my husband's name.

Now if i wanna travel(within the USA … by plane) can i just use My passport(canadian) … Is that ok ? Or do i need a piece of ID from my state ??

within US yes, your regular passport is fine. Or ID if you have it. It's unlikely you can even GET I.D from your state at this point. It's usually impossible once your I-94 is expired until you get your EAD or GC.

2011-03-22(Day 164): Another text for card production! Start printing GC?

2011-03-23(Day 165): Text/email moving into post decision activity! Mail GC?

2011-03-26(Day 168): GC in hand and done for 3-10 years depending on the citizenship decision...Still unsure!

2017-02-13(Day 1): Finally made the decision to apply for citizenship. Package went in mail

2017-02-16(Day 4): 1st NOA "went background checks are complete interview will be scheduled" no mention of Biometrics
