Hi,

I was looking for some information on any fees that we need to pay for a Immigrant Visa (Spouse) interview at the time of the interview itself. After the needed immigrant fees has been paid at NVC, is there any additional fees that needs to be paid in the embassy before the interview? Is it required to get any DD made for going for the interview at the Mumbai consulate. This is apart from he document courier charges that need to be paid at VFS for the mumbai consulate.

Thanks a lot for your response.

What is DD stand for?

Only Fee you are required to pay after you get interview date is VFS fee. But other than that you are not required to pay other fee. I would take few thousand rupees with me just incase if you have to pay any small fees there. If whoever is coming with you at the interview than they can seat and wait at the Star and Stripe lounge and there is small fee for that.

DD=Demand Draft. You can get that made at any bank in your state in India.

Looks like it's just the courier fees to VFS, in cash.
