Just thought i should let you guys know that we have decided to call it a day and we have ended our relationship.

I was due to go over in 5 weeks time to live in the US but it became too much and the pressure was more than the love so after 2 years we are no longer going to be together.

I wish you all the best on your VJ

Peace :(

You already have a visa and now ending the rship? My guess is that you will come to the US and be with someone else, without the petitioner knowing it. Or have you asked the embassy to cancel the visa?

That was pretty rude....

People from the UK aren't typically clamoring to enter the US as immigrants; believe it or not. Why not just enter on the Waiver? If the intent is to stay illegally, either way would work, so why the extra effort for a K1?

I hear Wal-Mart is having a sale on Common Sense this week....

For the OP>> Everyone has is responsible for his own deeds and actions. If you think that your life is better than going to be with your love then great. Its your life and in the end you have to deal with it. People laugh with you but never cry. So I appriciate it.

Majizee naaaaa, we never know what is behind the curtain. Take a million year think but dont waste a second to act. So we shouldnt jump on conclusion and only judje by the water surface. I hope you wont mind since I know you have good nature bcz you are going to be a mom. Right? :)

I did not mean to offend anyone and sorry if I did. And if they are selling common sense, you need to buy yourself some, if you can see that he waited until just after getting his visa (2 weeks after) to end the rship. Is that so hard to see. To me its common sense-maybe am too smart to see what otehrs dont see.

He's from England! Why the hell would he "need" a K1 Visa???? He can fly over here any time he wants.

Who said HE ended it? He never said that....

I got my Common Sense already when Wal-Mart had their last sale.

I'm sorry to hear of the end of your relationship. Long distance really plays havoc on a lot of people and it's stressfull. Add waiting and going through governmental processes for months into the mix, and it is something a lot of couples can't last through. I'm on a long-distance forum totally separate from VJ, and this happens a lot more frequently.

It's a bit disheartening. As for the timing of the matter... sometimes you never know just from reading on a forum what is going on in the real world. This may have been something building up for a while. Who knows.

We had everything organised and she just felt she was not ready to get married, she had a huge breakdown with it all and we felt it was best that we leave it and try and move on.

Its very easy to sit behind you big monitor and keyboard and have a nice little pop at people but it shows you to be nothing but a idiot.

If you asked me where i would want to live London or Greenwood,IN there is only one place. LONDON. She felt she could not leave her family and i could earn well in the US. Hence the reason we got this far.

She feels that its too much pressure and that getting married is not right for her at the moment. Thats fine its just that i cannot continue this long distance anymore as much as i love her, its getting me down.

Wow, how sad is that. Are you sure? I have lots of trouble right now as well but don't you think it is worth it. I left my company, friend and family but you get very soon a new family and new friend.

I am shocked.

But good luck to both of you.

I am sorry to hear about what happened. This is my greatest fear after all my fiance and I has been through one of us might just have had too much and have to end it. We are/were two very strong people, and this whole process has changed us. But we still love each other and we still want to be together. I know I refuse to give up and I know she does too. But just know I feel for you.

Also know I give a big ditto to your comment about people making snide comments easily behind their big monitors. Especially when they know they have an easy target on their hands during and/or after a tragic turn of events you just happened to want to share.

Just know you'll have two types of people here. Real jerks who's own life is worthless unless they can make yours more miserable. While the others are real, honest, flawed, compassionate, loving people who are just people trying to get by and understand how you are feeling right now. We are with you man.

Life goes one, right? The world is a big place, yeah?

Well even with those affirmations, I am sure it may not seem like much help right now. But make that your mantra.

Im sorry to hear this. Maybe it's a case of cold feet and she'll reconsider. Your visa is good for six months. I don't want to give you false hope, but effectively you have till January to 'make up'.

Majizee, if you are a 'real person' and not the troll I think you are, and if you think entering on a K1 and then marrying someone other than the USC petitioner 'works' you are dead wrong. In case you are thinking of doing what you implied the OP was doing. Just a little heads up.
