@Hooores :

If your wife income is sufficient for you then only your wife will fill out the I-864.

If it not sufficient then you can use any co-sponsor.

--> If your wife's brother is living with her at the same address then her brother will become Household member and you can use his income along with your wife's income. Means your wife's income & her brother's income will be combined. Here your wife will fill out I-864 and her brother will fill out I-864A.Here you have to show any document which will proove that they both are living at the same address. For ex. driving licence.

--> If your wife and her brother are living at different address then both will fill out I-864.Here your wife income will not be important. Now hereher brother's income will be main and it should be sufficinet for the household size. Household size will include him,his wife(if he has),his childrens(if any) and you.

You need last 3 year of tax returns along with W2s or IRS transcripts ,job letter, last 6 paystubs, bank letter, passport copy or citizen certi copy of all sponsors.

Hello, it's very simple Horees,

Petitioner: I-864

Co-sponsor: I-864

Tax Documents for Petitioner and Co-sponsor: Tax transcript from IRS for the last three years

Note if her Brother lives with her at the same household he would do the I-864A instead of I-864

Good Luck

Find a job you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life.

Dear ALL,

I would like to thank you all for your support.

I just want to summarize what I got from your posts:

1- Petitioner always file I-864 [even if he works or not]

2- Joint Sponsor [if he leaves in different address] always file I-864 ONLY

3- Joint Sponsor [if he leaves in same address] always file I-864A ONLY

In all cases, we need last 3 year of tax returns along with W2s or IRS transcripts for BOTH [sponsor & joint sponsor]

Right?

Thank you again

Not in this thread though! It's considered very rude as you are "yelling" at us.

I'm not yelling at anyone!!! I was just saying thank you to someone replied to my question.

This is what you were told in post FOUR of your previous topic.

in post Five I asked for clarification to post FOUR [and you didn't reply]. So, why you take it as a reference now???

If someone didn't answer my question, so why he is blaming me for re asking?!!!
