I have been reading and searching for anyone who has had a similar experience with us. Interview was done a few weeks back and requested for additional documentation.

I have heard many people say the embassy in Lagos asked their spouse to pick a date to be re-interviewed by sending the embassy an e-mail after they have gathereed their document.

Is this true, because our 221g says you will be contacted within 60days and if after that 60days you can e-mail us.

Please does anyone have any idea if we are supposed to e-mail them? I thought the 221g was a standard format for everyone to be contacted after certain number of days. Who and how are some people able to make appointments after they have gathered their documents.

Any information will help.

When my husband (then my fiance) was interviewed, they gave him the form 221g to bring back more photos and said the same thing, that he should email them for another date when he has the additional photos. He did just that and was given a date about 2 weeks later.

But the problem is they did not ask us to e-mail them, they said we will contact you, I am just trying to avoid a situation where by we mail them now and they go pull our chart and put it behid the other piles. this is so disgusting. :help:

I am not very tech savvy, i would have posted the time line.
