Always open TWO accounts - one with a fake name. You can check into the fake account and call up your real account and see exactly what friends and non friends can see. That allows you to check those complex privacy settings.

That way, when an old girlfriend posts 'come up and see me next time you are in england', nobody else can see it.

Not that I would of course - even though she was as hot as Bill Clinton speed jogging to Monika's casa at mid-day in July

My fake account is much beter - I can try it as friend and non friend etc... Nothing like a real world test to reassure one that it's set right.

I was single for 18 years 'in between' wives and I am used to having the highest security levels where nothing can go wrong and never the twain shall meet.

This facebook thing could be a nightmare if it isn't thoroughly debugged. Course it doesn't apply to me nowadays but single guys and gals need to cover their tracks with the highest care - especially in the bible belt where people have guns
