Hello All!

I am a bit stuck on these questions because I don't want to put the wrong thing please help!

14.If relative is currently in the U.S, He or she arrived as a (visitor, student, ect)

He is here on the visa waiver program shall I write visitor/vwp or just visa waiver program?

then it asks for the i-94 number which of course he doesnt have because they have recently stopped giving them to vwp's. So I should leave it blank?

Then of course it asks for the date arrived and will expire. I will use what is stamped in his passport right?

18.Address in the US relative intends to live? Same as mine and same as current right?

19.Relative's address abroad I read on another forum that if he is staying here it should be left blank, is that right?

21.Last address lived together from what date to what date? Should I put the date he last arrived to present?

22.Your relative is in the US and will apply for aos at USCIS office in:

Do I just put my city and state?

Any clarification I can get will be a great help! Thank you!

These answers are based on my own research/opinion:

14) Yes, if they stopped giving I-94W then I would put visa waiver program and not worry about the numbers. And as far as the date the stamp is as good as the I

18) Yes same for both

19) I would still list it. I did it on mine.

21) If he arrived to your address then yes.

22) Chicago, IL as you will be doing a concurrent filing and your package should be sent to Chicago Lockbox.

Hope this helps. Best of luck too!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Okay I will take your advice, the only thing that concerns me is number 22. Did you put that on your form?

Yes, that's what I used as well for 22. Even though they will transfer your case to the national benefits center in Missouri after you filed most of the time, you still have to file first at Chicago lockbox. That's of course according to USCIS instructions as for the third box in this link:

Direct Filing Addresses for Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative

My point of view is as long as it is not a choices answer (Male/Female). Too much information won't harm.

For our 19. we put none (currently in US)

For 22 we also put Lockbox Chicago, IL... seems weird... maybe it is wrong actually... but it didn't harm us.

Good luck.

Hmm. Well, considering you guys were approved, perhaps I should follow your example? Though he does have a home there still since this was all spotaneous. I don't whether that will help us or hurt us. Any opinions?

It probably doesn't matter. All last April's filers (and I believe May's) were approved (except one who responded improperly to an RFE) and I will guess that a lot of us put different answers in that box. Good luck!
