will a thyroid problem like hypo or hyperthyroidism or diabetes (for example) or even HPV affect the result of the medical exam? will it be a ground for denial..or are they just screening HIV , tuberculosis & hepatitis..just curious..

Not grounds for denial. They might check on your plans for medical/ health insurance coverage, but I only ever heard of concrete examples of that with relative petitions, not fiancees, and it is not grounds for denial.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

what if the fiancee has no insurance. in argentina health is state run so she has no insurance. i however do hold insurance here in the USA. once she enters and we marry she would be added to my insurance coverage. would they just require i show proof of health insurance.

I dont believe they are intersted in YOUR health so much, as they are interested in communical diseases. Here, when we went to see the Dr. for the exam we had a mild medical questionare. I just answered honestly as to any conditions that I have/had and went on my merry way. I dont think telling them anything on this questionare reflected in my approval, they just wanted to know.

Oct. 2008 - He came to Canada to meet me

Dec 25 2009 officially engaged

March 2010 - sent off I-129F

March 27 2010 - Vermont receives package :)

April 3 2010 - Informed through mail that cheque is cashed NOA1

May 28 2010 - RFE notification ( yeah Im online checking alot >.< )

June 5 2010 - RFE hardcopy received

June 18 2010 - RFE returned ( had done it June 7 - but USPS returned grrrr )

--- case says we should hear from them in 60 days from June 18 ---

June 23 - Touched

Aug4 - Email notification of NoA2 :)

Aug. 10 - NOA2 Hardcopy received
