I 864 originals needed at the interview?

Hi, I have my appintment this wednesday, here in Colombia monday is a holiday, so it screwd up everything for us, cus my husband's lawyer told him today he had to notarize the I 864 and all those papers, and he is going to do that tomorrow in a bank at 9 am, and then he is gonna fedex express it to me, but as it is a holiday mail service wont work on monday and we dont know if I get the docs on tuesday or not, my interview is at 7 am.

and I am very scared of denial

I have everything ready, actually, my migratory record was supposed to be given on wed, but I called today and they said to go on tuesday and they will give it to me without no problem.

the question of the problem is, in case I dont get the docs on time, can I take a scan or fax form with me?

IMO, AOS needs to be with original signature.

There is no external party notarization.

The petitioner's (sponsor) original signature, that's all.

so I am in the same Loto, lol, I know It has to be notarized but If they require the original signature, does it imply the docs have to be in hard copy, I mean with the signature in pen? cus we were thinking of scan it or fax it and print it? and what does IMO mean?

I would say instead of scanning and faxing - Petitioner download the original form from the USCIS site, fill it and sign it, fedex to the beneficiary, if you think you have enough time. This is just my opinion.

I think better you follow what your attorney suggests.

here is a thought that might help, if he is sending through Fedex there is an option that you pick up your package yourself from a Fedex Office in your region, so can he do that and make sure you pick it up on tuesday at any time of the day, check into that with your husband

Just a not for everyone...there is a service called counter-to-counter courier service where you actually take the document or package to the airport and deliver it, and it catches the next, direct flight out and can be picked up at the airport on the receiving end. I use this in my business at times when next day just won't cut it. Expensive? Oh, yeah. But when it absolutely, positively....well, we know.

That is correct but the "original" I-864 would have been submitted to NVC already. No need for a new original at interview. A copy, faxed, emailed or otherwise would be good for the beneficiary's reference in case they are asked about the sponsor's income.
