Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well. :)

So I(usc) am putting together the aos package for my husband(vwp) and step daughther(vwp) and I need to confirm that I have everything I need and ask a few questions. Hope you all can help!

Here is what I have:

Husband

I-130 passport pics(1 him, 1 me), documents(marriage cert, divorce papers from past marriages, copy of my us passport), G-325A(one husband, one me),supporting evidence (emails between us of the past 2 years, flight itineraries, passport stamps for both,20 candid pics of us here and his country, vacations, and holidays over the past 2 years) check for $355

I-485 passport pics(2 husband), birth certificate(husband), G-325A (husband),I-693(husband) check for $1010

I-864 tax returns, passport copy (me)

I-765 passport pics (2 husband)

I-131 passport pics (2 husband), passport copy(husband)

G-1145

Step Daughter

I-130-copy of marriage license, copy of divorce papers from previous marriages, copy of her birth certificate, copy of my passport check for $355

I-485-passport pics 2(her), copy of marriage license, copy of divorce papers,I-693(hers) check for $600

I-864-tax returns and copy of my passport

G-1145

I am planning to send this all together in one package to the Chicago Lockbox Address.

Does everything seem to be in order from what you can tell? Am I missing anything? Should I include a letter from myself and my husband describing our relationship history and how we got to this point? We are expecting our first child together should include sonogram pics, should I state that under children?

Should I worry about getting affidavits from friends and family to add to our evidence?

What should my cover letter say, should I have one for each application?

Table of contents?

I want to send it express certified but through USPS does that still go to the address that says "for express and courier deliveries" ?

Just some additional info: I am planning on sending this at the lastest Wednesday the 17th first thing in the morning overnight. I am aware that the fee change goes into affect the 23rd. It says as long as it is postmarked before it will ok, do you think it will be accepted by then as well?

Also, my husband and stepdaughter's 90 days is up on November 29th. As long as everything is accepted, we should be in the clear in terms of not being over the 90 days right?

I know this is alot so thank for you for any reassurance and advice you can give me!

If your sending tax returns you need to send W2s as well.

You might want to include a letter from your employer and paystubs. Also did they get an I-94W at the airport? If so include a copy of that in the application.

I am not including that because it says its optional. VWP dont get I-94s anymore.

Yes it is optional, My husband did the same thing, he just sent his tax forms and W2's and we still got an RFE. I agree with amykathleen, they need proof that the sponsor still has income for this year.

Should have listened to myself and sent those with our package, that way we didn't have to wait this long to process my application. Our whole 2 weeks just put in to waste because of that mistake.

Good luck on your application!

Well I am including not a check stub but a record from payroll of my pay for this year, I am heavily pregnant and not currently working so I am also getting a cosponsor (my father is a doctor) and he will include his tax returns and w2's for the last 3 year.

So I am hoping that will do it.

Sponsors and co-sponsors need proof of current employment, which is either a letter from the employer OR pay stubs for the last six months. It says so on the I-864 main page at uscis.gov.

As far as your evidence, the evidence you have is not anything that is specifically mentioned in the I-130 instructions. They do say "other" but... I would include some affidavits if you can. I don't think you need a whole story about how you and your husband met etc in the cover letter, though.

Good luck!

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Ok I will include some affidavits. Thank You! That is conflicting information about the I-864 but I will have my father get a letter confirming employment and as for me I am not currently employed and dont really qualify on my own as a sponsor anyway. So I will just include a payroll statement including my total wages from my last place of employment this year and hope that will be good enough. Since my father is the joint sponsor and its his income that really qualifies, I imagine it is more imparative that he has all the things you all have mentioned, no?
