Hey everyone!quick question, I am currently applyin for AOS in the states. Im living with my mother in law, but when I filed I-129, they were living elsewhere. Is it ok to just write the new address(where im living now) when filling in the I-485, or will they rfe back, and tell me why the addresses are different? Any help would be great on this matter!Thank you so much, this forum is so helpful!

You definitely need to make USCIS aware of your change of address ASAP. Go on their website and there should be somewhere to update it.

File for an AR-11(Change of Address) online BEFORE submitting your AOS application. You can print the confirmation then enclose it in your package.Ive done that and never had problems..

Hey! Thanks so much. I have just submitted an AR 11 form online, and saved the confirmation page etc. So does this mean I can continue to use the new address when filing for AOS?As long as I enclose the change of address confirmation letter when filing right?

No.

File for AOS with the new address. Keep the copy AR-11 for your records. No need to send it with AOS.
