I recently married a Canadian citizen and already have all the forms for Permanent Residence in Canada, I will be living there while my application is processed but I am currently a US Resident since my dad was hired and I was his dependent. I have lived about 6 years in the US and about 3 as a PR.

I want to keep my US PR, what are the guidelines I have to follow?

can I live outside and not loose my PR?

how much time do I have to wait to apply Naturalization? Can I hold a Canadian Citizenship or Residence after I become US citizen through Naturalization? do I have to give up my US residence if I become Canadian, according to the US?

Do I have to visit the US every 6 motnhs or something?

I appreciate any help or direction to another forum, since I havent seen any similar questions.

Thank you
