Marriage...visa..6 months...90 days...

Okay...I understand my visa is good for 6 months from the date it's issued, and that once I enter the US, I must get married within 90 days. I've read somewhere here that someone came into the states in the 5th month of the visa, and then married 60 days after that. Wouldn't the visa then have expired? How does that impact your filing papers after you're married for AOS, EAD, and AP? Should you get married in enough time to have all those papers submitted before the 6 month expiry? Any help is appreciated.

Visa expiry date and 90-days limit is different(i guess so) the visa expiry date means you hvae to travel within six of the visa issuance date. once you get to the usa then you have to marry within 90 from the date you entered into usa. thats what my mind says.

Aw, what a cute baby!

After the visa's been issued, the beneficiary has 6 months to enter the U.S. In other words, the entry in the U.S. must happen within the 6-month frame. The 90-day limit regards to the time the beneficiary is lawfully allowed in the country under a K1. Am I correct?

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
