Hello! Quick question lang :)

I sent off my K1 packet not too long ago and was wondering how long it would take, start to finish? I am expecting 8-10 months -- I know each case is unique, but what's a reasonable timeline?

Also, from NOA2 to Interview -- how long does that usually take?

Ours took 10 but there was a problem with the medical paperwork which put us behind the norm.

Our 1-129F Petition took 48 days approval from NOA1.

And I was approved (visa on hand) took 130 days from NOA1..

Were so blessed that our time frame ( processing time) is shorter than others.:-))

October 27, 2010 - Received Biometric Scheduled ( dated 19.Nov.2010)

November 19, 2010 - Biometric Schedule done

December 09,2011 - Interview Notice Received - schedule on January 20, 2011

December 22,2010 - EAD Approved

December 23,2010 - AP Approved

December 30,2010 - AP Received

December 31,2010 - EAD Card Received

January 20,2011 - interview - Approved - (Exactly my 5 months I landed in US)

January 29,2011 - Green Card Received - (Exactly 1 year that we got engaged)

Got NOA 1 then 5 days later got NOA2

Whole thing from petition sent to interview to in the United States and married took us 4 months.

hi sis.. our previous k1 last yr. was approved after 3 mons. from filing of i-129f and my case arrived at the US embassy after 2 wks. of the date it was approved...

N-400:
May 9, 2017: N-400 packet was sent
May 15, 2017: NOA1 
June 05, 2017: Biometric Done
June 19, 2017: Case is in Line for an Interview
June 25, 2018: USCIS Scheduled an Interview
Aug. 02, 2018: Interview Date- APPROVED!
Aug. 09, 2018: Oath Ceremony

we're almost the same timeline, im just a few days ahead :) hope ours get processed in a shorter span of time instead of 5 months which seems to be the trend now.. the ones who sent out their applications towards the beginning of the year usually just have 2-3 months wait time from noa1 to noa2. hopefully CSC gets to catch up with all the backlogs and speed up the process again :)

*hoping* *praying* for a fast processing

K1 Timeline

2010-11-02: NOA1

2011-03-24: NOA2!!! :)

2011-04-08: Case arrived at Embassy ( tracked through DHL)

2011-04-11/12: Medical at St Lukes

2011-04-25: INTERVIEW :) Earliest slot available online is May 6, called to see if there is an earlier date. Got Apr 25 :)

2011-05-11: POE at LAX Airport

2011-06-25: We got married!

2011-08-02: AOS/ AP/ EAD filed

2011-08-09: AOS NOA1

2011-09-06: Biometrics Appointment

2011-10-20: AOS Interview @ Detroit USCIS

Hi Crystal!

I've been looking up November/October filers from the previous years and their processing times from NOA1- NOA2 does seem shorter! I've come to terms with 5 months though -- but anything shorter than that will be a welcome surprise! :)

mine was so short because my husband got orders to deploy soon after we sent the petiton so we had to request expedite or the whole thing would of been wasted because he would of been gone for long.

Ours took 155 days from NOA1 to NOA2 and then another 52 days until the interview.
