Hmm when do biometrics expire????

Biometrics last for 15 months I believe - or 18 months - hmm, don't remember which - but they do expire. Mine were redone after 18 months.

OMG. 18 months, they let you wait that long? Why don't they schedule the biometrics closer to the interview, would make more sense for both the applicant and the immigration guys. In Germany we would call that a measure of provision of work.... And that for sure is something NOT good

I would wait a bit longer. They are probably waiting for the security checks to come back, and since it was transferred to california you will probably get approval without an interview. Some people get interviews before security checks are complete and end up still waiting. 3 months isn't long. My file was also transferred to California. I had to do a 2nd AOS biometrics because the first had expired. I was touched just after biometrics for several days then my next 'touch came 3 months after the biometrics touches, and then I received the approval emails shortly after that. For me the whole process took 23 months and 1 week. I amn sure you will hear something pretty soon though.

Unfortunately, I have not been transferred to California. I am just hoping the USCIS system is down and I just havent been notified I have been... just doing some wishful thinking.
