Hi,

we got a RFE and sent everything back 3 weeks ago but we have heard nothing and cheque still not cashed.

Don has phoned and all they will tell him is that they can't tell him anything until 30 days has passed.

Is this usual practice?

Thanks

Hi Julie,

Can you tell us a little bit about the RFE? I'm confused especially by your reference to a check being cashed. If the submission was returned to you for incorrect fees, that's not an RFE....

Oh, I see your previous thread, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/281624-cheque-not-yet-cashed/page__p__4275599#entry4275599 they rejected the whole package...Did you send a second check the 2nd time around? If you got a receipt, then your case number should be on that. Sometimes the checks don't go through at the same time as the receipts, so I guess keep watching. :-/

Was it a delivery confirmation from the mail service then? I think we are all confused. Is Don worried as well? Could he come on and explain it a little more? It sounds like things are getting lost in translation here.
