Hi there,

This has probably been asked already but I can't seem to find anything about it on here - probably haven't looked properly.

My Fiance (Petitioner) could be moving soon, and I was wondering if he had to send in the change of address information, if it would slow our process down? We are waiting for NOA2 (still early days) and don't want there to be a chance of the process being delayed. I have been told by numerous people that it won't, but just need to triple check on this. :)

Has anyone recently done this before their NOA2?

Thanks in advance for the responses.

I changed my mailing adress from a apartment address to a Post Office Box, I believed all I did was called USCIS to have it changed. Did not change the processing time at all and I did it in the early stages too,

AOS:

I changed My address online at the USCIS website and it was no problem whatsoever.

My husband also changed his address at one point by calling them. They are really helpful, we have gone through several addresses with the military and it hasn't caused any delays in our case at all.

I changed my address during the USCIS review. My NOA2 did take a very long time, but I doubt it was because I changed my address (it was about 4 months into the review phase that I changed my address, so it was already "late"). But when I called after 5 months had passed since the NOA1, they said it would take 60 days from the last activity on my case file before they would do an inquiry into my case status, which in my case was my change of address. So, the address change will not necessarily cause a delay directly, but the USCIS can use it as an excuse to do nothing if they take too long.
