HI,

I have a very important question! I searched for hours but still I do not know what to do! I am filing I485 and I 765.

I have F-1 Visa and got my OPT Card in May, 2010!

In August I got married!

I was working on campus and kept working until September( it wasn't in my field. Even though my opt started they let me work on campus)

In September I quit my campus job and got another job related to my field!

I worked for that company until November and since it was a temp job now i don't work for that company anymore!

And now I'm about to send my I 130, 485 and 765 forms !

Am out of status now, because I don't work currently?

Because I know that after the OPT starts, you need to start working in 90 days in your field! I kept working on campus, and now I don't work! My OPT Card expires in May 2011 but I don't work currently!

Does anyone have any idea if I'm out of status? or any idea what about what I should do?

Call the DSO at your school, the school that issued you the I-20. They will be able to tell you with certainty if you are out of status - especially if there are any restrictions on your F-1

Good luck
