Acco Fastener to assemble I-864?

Should I use the Acco Fastener to assemble the I-864 papers? Mine is pretty thick and wondering if I should do the same thing I did for my other immigration applications- make two holes on the top of the papers and use Acco fastener. But again, DOS might be different ball game. Any ideas?

I personally use binder clips just to hold everything nice and tightly together. They are going to undo your whole package anyways when they get it and put it in their folders with their own fasteners.
