Before you can do that, you must have already configured your messenger to automatically save all chats even when you sign out.

Messenger>Preferences>Archive>"Yes, save all of my messages" If you did not initially do this there would be no message in your Archive ...I think!

please kindly teach me how to print out yahoo messanger chat loggs for d past 8 months,I don't know how to go about it,thank u

You cannot print the archives from messenger. I tried and Messenger Help says we cannot, and if you tried to print it will only print one page (which does not make sense because they give a print option). What I did was copy and paste my conversations to a Word document or you can paste them to your email.

The better way to print any message from your archive would be to click the "View Archive". On the left of the pop up window you would see a list of all the contacts you have chat with. Click on any one of the contacts you want to print their conversation and on the top half of the right you would see all the dates of conversations you've had with that contact. Click on any on of the dates and on the lower half you would see the conversations. To print the conversation first click on "save" icon at the top left corner of the window, it will enable you to save that conversation as a text document. Then you can go to the saved text conversation and print that document. Take these steps for as many conversations you want to print out.

What you can do is print the page(s) that show all the chat dates you have and then print selected example conversations.

I have done all of this-it took me awhile, but I know how to do it to show the archives-of every chat, without printing out every chat-as that is what prints when you push print from the archives.

This is what I did-went to the archives, pushed print screen. For me it did not print the whole screen for some reason-if it does great-move the tab down to the next section to show the next part of the archive history and do each one-print screen (for my computer that is function insert).

What I had to do is print screen, then copy (control C) and then I went to Word and I pasted it there-it shows the whole screen-with your date and time, so it's rather hard to make that up-nor alter anything. Then I'd scroll down so it showed the new part of the archive history and do the same thing, over and over until I had every archived date of our chat logs.

Good luck.
