Got the dreaded RFE today!!! It could be due to a few things. Either they lost my medical (like they do everyone elses) or want me to get a medical again even though i dont need too. I only submitted 2 pics and my AP AND EAD are approved already, my AP picture is the of one of the passport pics i submitted, My EAD has my biometics pic on it. Or it could be from our co sponsor as we were not sure we needed one. His mother is our co sponsor as last year he was not above the poverty line and his 2009 tax return shows this.(and this is the tax return we had to submit as it request you submit recent years tax return) However this year he makes above it, so we submitted the I864 form and along with this his 2009 tax return and W2, a letter from his employer confirming his employment and salary and his paystubs. We also submitted a I864 with his mother as co sponsor, she only makes 10,000 a year as she only works pt, but we combined her assets which are over $300,000 so we knew we would be ok. I have heard that if you can prove you make above the poverty line this year they dont take into consideration your last years income, anyone have any input here.

You won't know for sure really until you receive the letter. It could be for something totally different.

Ugh I hope they didnt lose your medical! That has happened to a lot of Canadians lately hasn't it? I was worried about that myself but I managed to breeze through without a hitch. Except for in the beginning when I sent in a form that had been replaced by a newer edition. I was banging my head against the wall for that that stupid mistake. Did you get the immunizations transcribed? I didnt bother, just sent in the worksheet and it went through ok. They wanted way too much money to transcribe for the 4 of us so I rebelled and took the chance.

You won't totally know until you get the RFE letter. We got the hard copy last Sat and sent what they asked for Monday. Just try to relax and send what they need right away. Good luck!
