This DNA thing is really getting serious, i didn't know the seriousness of it until i was ask to also do one... and this pass months the Embassy keeps getting back alot of negative test results... but at the end of the day i think they should come up with something to help people in a case like this.. why make them suffer for something they know nothing about... my dear from all that i have read your father cant do anything more ... but there is always hope dont give up...

Unfortunately, there is nothing more that can be done on your father's part - I am very sorry to hear of your situation, and know that being a sperm donor does not make a father - (unfortunately, not in USCIS' view though) - Is your mother a USC? She can file for you.

Remember that this is no longer my father by blood. Also I thought that step fathers could file for step children? Am I wrong or have I misunderstood the whole thing. Thanks. No my mother is in Jamaica. She is the one who caused this mess.

I know he's not your father by blood - but, that doesn't make him any less your emotional father if he is the man that raised you.

I believe that filing for a stepchild only applies if your parents are still married and the child is under 21
