I read the shortcuts like lingche and jamie shortcuts. I am confused by reading those. Is there anyone who has followed these shortcuts and can you walk us through the whole process?

I undersatnd the part that Aproved i-130 will go to NVC from USCIS. NVC will generate case number. Then spouse can email DS-3032 to NVC using that generated NVC cse number. Anyone can send ds-3032 by email without requiring barcode.Am I right?

I am confused afterward. Can my wife(she is outside u.s.a) send me DS-230 with other documents to me and I sent them to NVC? First thing, do i require to generate barcode? 2nd thing, Does my wife must send DS-230 to NVC directly? 3rd thing, do we have to send original document like birth certificate and marriage certificate to NVC in both scenario?

It would be awesome if anyone who has gone through all the process and almost finished in NVC, guides us the rest? I would appreciate for your help.

Can you tell me what you did? I had already read that several times. I did not get it. That is the reason I started this topic. Thanks

I think you need to read it several more times. The EZGuideSpouse is the most simplified version, IMO.

based on your timeline, you're still on the USCIS stage...is that correct? now you're asking about possibly sending documents needed at the NVC stage. it's good that you're being pro-active, but sending NVC any paperworks when they have no records of your file as of yet is a waste of energy and money. they will just do nothing with it and will ask you to send another set when you're at the NVC stage.

now when you do get to the NVC stage, before you can send them the AOS and DS-230 packets, the respective fees for these packets need to be paid first. and you will not be billed for these until your case is at the NVC stage.

like Markieboy said...you have to keep reading it. maybe you're having a hard time getting it because you're reading regarding the NVC stage while you're not there yet. I was in the same position when i started my paperworks, but when i got to the NVC stage, things started to make sense.

you could try without the bar-code, some people got accepted this way.

Yes she can fill ds-230 and send it to you along with the other documents

It would be awesome if anyone who has gone through all the process and almost finished in NVC, guides us the rest? I would appreciate for your help.

Yes the guide is really good. Due to logistics internet, scanning etc. I was going to have my wife sign the DS2030 when I visit her. When we get notice I can send the form much easier from the USA. Does anyone have any thoughts if cut and paste the bar code or generate a bar code from one of the available site will work as well as the original the national visa center will provide? Thanks :help:

Use what NVC sends....it recognizes your case. It's the same as buying Brand A 20 oz mustard and Brand B 20 oz mustard...both are mustard but they are different. NVC scans the bar codes to determine routing and placement of the file.
