hi

my wife applied for AOS on June2010 and did the biometrics on July. Case was transfered to CSC on July 15 2010 and since then there is no touches, notifications nothing. Its about 4 months now if we call USCIS they get the receipt number and they say we are within the processing time(they go by our location NY not by CSC).I guess have to take a infopass and check it out.

I know how you feel! My did my husband AOS in the May of 2010. We did the biometrics and later was informed our case was sent to CSC. After 4 months with no touches or notifications, I called up USCIS about my case. I called them many times and still I was told that we're within the processing time. Anyways, I bugged the USCIS until they acknowledge that my case went over the processing time. They just recently sent me a letter that my case has been order and is under review. They will let me know the result at the end of the month. I wish you luck!

P.S I was told by a family friend that you get your local state governor to help you by writing a letter or email. Again, I know how you feel but just hang in there!

I understand your frustration. Our time line's are almost the same with CSC. We have not been touched since Aug 6th. I hope that they start moving faster with the processing soon.

Did any of you have EAD's or AP's approved before it was transferred? Or was the entire thing lodged in the cogs at the CSC?

I sent in my AOS in May and it was transfered to CSC in June, and I am still waiting as well.

Stay strong, as frustrating as it is. We pay these exorbitant fees, only to be given the least customer service of all.

We lucked out. Our case (From CA) was Xferred to the NVC, and we were given an appt date for an AOS interview.

At the time, I dreaded that we have to prepare for yet another intw in this protracted process, but in retrospect, Iam glad.

I understand that resident petitioners apply from Calif NEVER get sent to the CSC. Finally, Californians catch a break by NOT being a victim of the Gummint.

Hope the logjam breaks soon for ya!

And GoGoGadget legs!

Yes, my wife received her EAD and AP at the end of Aug 2010. They both was approved after the case was transferred to CSC. My wife's case was transferred very quickly to CSC after we filed it.
