the parents went to court over a game? a friend who thinks this ruined her friends lives? seriously?

everybody needs to chill the f out and go play some nintendo

On one hand, I think the hazing incident itself was relatively mild. But more importantly, it aggravates me to see how parents try to subvert the school's authority.

I also think the hazing was mild...oh my gosh, when I was in high school, as a sophomore, I had to go through an initiation to get into the school's 'social club'...and if you weren't a part of this club, you didn't exist, lol.

And as a junior and senior, I hazed in turn.

Anyhoo, it might have 'ruined lives' if there were scouts going to this game, and the seniors were banking on 'showing off' to get scholarships.

Mild or not, it's wildly inappropriate. My husband was subjected to intense bullying as a kid and it's left some deep scars on him. I don't condone any bullying.

We will have to agree to disagree...I don't think a pie in the face is really that awful. All clubs go through some sort of rites of initiation.

(F) for your hubby tho

Michael Cohen stomped on my head in a snowbank when we were in kindergarten. That was 40 years ago. I'm still pissed at him, and he's still a bully.

The students involved should be banned from any sports for the remainder of their school days. Hopefully the event is also part of the record and will have the appropriate affect on their applications for college.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
