Well take it anyway it's not gonna hurt if you even took something extra that you think you can show to the officer

It could never hurt

You are welcome, they won't ask you for anything that they already have, so if you have sent them the AOS already then you are good

No need to worry

Good Luck

Not true. Each USEM has different requirements. Too many times on here, false info is passed to OPs based on the country that you are filing in versus the country of the OP/Intending Immigrant. That's why there are regional discussion boards...so folks dealing with the same Embassy can give accurate information.

Here's the deal on this:

I have known plenty of folks using the USEM in Manila. They all required a fresh I-864. Have your hubby fill out a new one, and attach his tax transcripts/returns. You WILL be asked for it.

didn't mean to interrupt the regional discussion but here it is from the Manila Embassy in Philippine

Affidavit of Support

The I-864 Affidavit of Support (and I-864A for household members when required) is used to prove applicants will not become a public charge dependent on government welfare. Sponsors fill out this form. It is a legally binding, complex contract on which it is easy to make errors.

You should talk with your sponsor before your interview and ensure an I-864 was filed. If there is any doubt, consider having your sponsor complete another I-864 (and I-864A for household members whose income is included in the pledge of support) and bring the original signed forms to your interview. I-864s no longer need to be notarized.

Tax return requirements. Sponsors need to present one year of tax returns. Consider bringing your sponsor’s most recent Federal tax returns to your interview. Photo copies are acceptable.

FWIW, they didn't ask Mhay for it but she had everything with her anyway. As long as your husband can fill it out the same, scan, and e-mail it to you, you will be fine. Check our timeline. Mhay gave me a good rundown of what they wanted & asked at the interview. She told me PRISM for the CFO asked & wanted more.

It is ALWAYS better 2 be overprepared than 2 be put on hold because they wanted 2 see something.
