I-94 about to expire

hi to all VJers..

i got here in the states last august under K1 visa and got married the same month, due to unfavorable circumstances, we just recently managed to gather all the necessary documents we needed for my AOS. Last week, the 2nd, we finally sent all the documents (THANK GOD!)... here's the thing: my I-94 will be expiring after TOMORROW!! and now, i found myself asking these.. AM I GONNA GET IN TROUBLE? AM I GONNA BE OUT OF STATUS? i mean, i know that i always carry my passport and a copy of our marriage certificate, but paranoia just hit me.. thats because i dont have a proof that i already sent my papers for adjustment of status. i need your advice. i am so puzzled right now after realizing this. You have an AOS case pending, you will be fine. You will receive a NOA1 for your application, and if you're worried that can serve as proof of your pending case. But unless you're living in a Mexican border state where checks are performed, I really wouldn't be concerned.

you will be fine either way as long as you can also produce the marriage certificate if questions arise from your expired I-94. Technically you can wait until your 90th day to get married and have no issues with immigration. You just have no status. When you get your NOA on your AOS, I would make a copy of that and carry it with you.

thanks for that guys.. appreciate it so much.. i just got paranoid for a second.. lol.. but its all good now,, i got my notices already and have it with me all the time..
