Dumb question, but I couldn't find the answer using the search feature.

We received the letter stating that my wife's conditional residency was lifted, and she is now a permanent residence. The letter also stated that my wife will receive her green card within 6 months. Between now and then, do we have to do anything? I hear that you have to show up for biometrics. Does my wife make an appointment for biometrics or will they send her an appointment letter? Basically, we don't know what to do and don't know what to expect from this point forward.

Thanks and good luck on your application process!!!

Re-read the letter carefully and make sure you haven't missed an instruction to go somewhere and do something.

Otherwise, wait and see what happens. It has been different for each Service Center lately; no telling what exactly will go down.

We were instructed to go to the DO via InfoPass and order the new card, but people are reporting lots of different instructions now.

Congratulations!
