Is anyone going through administrative processing? My husband is.. N its been 3 and half months pending in beirut embassy..

my wife she born in Lebanon but she have jordaian passport cuz she born in Lebanon she have all this drama she had interview on 3/24/2010 to this daet is on ap. each time i call is peanding

My case in also in AP, i rcvd their call saying it will take 3 months. Anyone knows any email where i can ask the status after the said time is over.

Good news my husband got his visa it took 6 months alhamdoula he got it im soo excited

To check on the status of a visa, you can call the State Dept. 202 663 1225 or send an email to the consulate in the country you applied in -- the email should be on their website.

However, I also recommend that you sign my petition calling for a 90-day time limit for this process, as well as a comprehensive review of the entire visa process. The government can currently take as long as they want to do "administrative processing" with no accountability whatsoever. As a citizen, I can tell you that no other federal agency behaves this way, and I believe this is not only terrible in terms of our feelings, but bad for the fabric of American democracy. And it's unnecessary.

Also, we should all join www.americanfamiliesunited.org, which is working on this issue, among others that relate to family reunification. They are the only advocacy group that I know about.
